Quick Tip #17 – Use a net to pick up fruit

My robo mower loves fruit, despite him always choking on it, so during late summer and fall I constantly need to pick up the fruit that falls off the trees.

I tired of having to crouch and wiggle my way around the branches of the tree and tried using a net instead. Which worked really well!

DIY #25 – Don’t spill your blueberries

Freshly picked blueberries are awesome! They taste great, colors everything blue, and is really good for you. Picking them can be fraught with anxiety though and spilling a bucket full of blueberries is enough to make a grown man cry. Which I think is a healthy reaction to spilling a full bucket of blueberries.

But wait! There’s a better way!

Using an empty soda bottle (don’t cut into a full bottle unless you film it, put it on YouTube and leave a comment with a link to the video below) we can create a super simple container that is purpose-made to keep your berries safe.

In this video I try three different ways to make the container, and I encourage you to experiment based on any of my designs to find what works best for you.

DIY #24 – Restoring my pond, part 4

Slowly but surely, I’m getting closer to a “finished” pond (no project is ever finished). In this episode I clean out the pond and install the pump and filter.

As always, things don’t always go according to plan but in the end I get it done well enough.

Quick Tip #16 – Quickly attach sandpaper to an orbital sander!

This is a lot quicker without the camera in the way so don’t include that when doing this.

MISC #19 – Magoo Jr. goes under the knife!

I do some surgery on Magoo Jr. with the intent to cure his memory loss. Things didn’t go to plan though and he still gets amnesia from time to time. However, in the process I gave him a good cleaning and a firmware update, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time.

Also, if you’re wondering what a Worx Landroid WG799E looks like on the inside, here’s your chance to find out.
