DIY #16 – Painting pet monsters

This project is roughly 3 years old, but I really like it so I decided to do what I could with the pretty rough footage I had lying around.

It’s a mix of time lapses, cross fades and real time footage, with minimal commentary. It’s not meant as an instructional video, but hopefully you’ll find it interesting to see the progress.

MISC #17 – First drive in 29 years with classic rally Saab (subtitles)

This is a short and rough video, as I never actually meant to film this ride. I provide a lot more context in the intro of the video.

Hopefully I’ll have more of this wonderful car further down the road (pun very much intended).

DIY # 15 – Keeping Magoo Jr. on the straight and narrow

My robo mower Magoo Jr. is as seen in a previous video fond of digging up my lawn when things doesn’t go his way.

To be fair, my garden is somewhat challenging for a robo mower so I decided to help him tackle the slope he has the most problems with.

In the end, I managed to keep him from digging more holes and out of the border. Great success! Sort of…

Quick Tip #12 – Counter-twist before you screw it on

The title says it all, really. Even the old Greeks knew to counter-twist before screwing it on.

But, if you want to know how I do it, then check out the video. And if this was new to you, please give it a thumbs up.

DIY #14 – Helping my niece learn the alphabet, part 2

Vera, my niece, watches a lot of YouTube channels in English which ultimately is a good thing, as she learns English alongside Swedish, but it gives her problems learning the alphabet.

My brother jokingly told me that it was up to me, as her godfather, to help her learn the alphabet, so of course I built her something out of cheap insulation, old wood and a discarded curtain.

This is the “thrilling” “conclusion” to the previous installment in the series.

If you like the video, please hit that thumbs up and maybe subscribe to the channel, and if you didn’t like it, give it a thumbs down. None the less, thanks for watching!

DIY #13 – Helping my niece learn the alphabet, part 1

Vera, my niece, watches a lot of YouTube channels in English which ultimately is a good thing, as she learns English alongside Swedish, but it gives her problems learning the alphabet.

My brother jokingly told me that it was up to me, as her godfather, to help her learn the alphabet, so of course I built her something out of cheap insulation, old wood and a discarded curtain.

The video got a bit too long to release in one go so you’ll have to settle for a cliffhanger for now, and the thrilling conclusion in a week or so.

If you like the video, please hit that thumbs up and maybe subscribe to the channel, and if you didn’t like it, give it a thumbs down. None the less, thanks for watching!

DIY #12 – Restoring my pond, part 1

I have a lot of projects I did directly after I moved to this property. Some of them worked out great, some not so much. In this case I simply underestimated the amount of upkeep a pond requires and I ignored it for far too long.

Not anymore! This ends today, or I will die trying!

Probably not, but I will restore it as well as add the features I always intended for it to have. This will take quite some time though, hence the episodic format.

Thanks for watching! Please subscribe if you want to keep up with my antics, it really helps the channel a lot.
