DIY #21 – No more herbicide overspray!

This one turned out really well! And you don’t really need any other tools than a hacksaw, a power drill and some drill bits to do this.

Depending on your sprayer you might need to adjust the length of the funnel but if you start with a somewhat long funnel that’s easily done.

Thank you very much for watching! If you liked the video please give it a thumbs up, and also share, comment and subscribe – the usual stuff.

MISC #18 – Water your lawn, high pressure style!

Using a high pressure washer to water your lawn – or your borders for that matter – is a perfectly valid option, as long as you don’t mind getting the washer out and connected.

The high pressure creates a mist that is perfect for watering newly sown lawns, or other areas of your garden that need the gentle touch of a high pressure washer.

That’s not a sentence I ever thought I’d write.

DIY #20 – Building a cold frame from scrap

So, I did a bamboozle on you. This title is pure clickbait. I had to use “proper” lumber to finish this, but I *did* use as much scrap as I could.

This is one of those projects that I’ve been meaning to do for years that I had time to do now that I’m more or less unemployed.

It’s nothing special, but maybe it’ll serve as an inspiration for some of you and – as always – I make mistakes that you hopefully could learn from.

Thanks for watching! If you like the video please hit the thumbs up, and also consider subscribing (and activating notifications as YouTube is acting up).

Quick Tip #15 – No more bruised fingers!

Unless you’re a member of ICP it should be obvious that it’s a magnet and not magic. If I ever do discover magic, I promise I’ll post a Quick Tip video about it though.

If you don’t have a suitable hammer for this trick, you now have a good reason to buy one. “The more, the merrier!” also applies to tools.

Thanks for watching! If you liked the video, please assault that approval icon. Share, comment and subscribe if you want to help the channel grow as well as keep up with what I post.

DIY #19 – Keeping Magoo Jr. out of the drink

A bit of gardening in this one, trying to prevent Magoo Jr. from injuring himself. Don’t want kids? Get a robo mower instead!

The audio is a bit all over the place in this one as I used my new Zoom H1n for the first time.

VLOG – 2025

Once again, Queen Latifah is back! Yeah, that’s how old I am.

A bit of a “proper” VLOG, whatever that is. The main reason I’m doing this is to keep you up with the bees but I thought I’d fill you in on the rest of my week.

Thanks for watching!

DIY #18 – Restoring my pond, part 2

Back at the pond, cleaning up around the perimeter and draining most of the water. I also take a quick look at the pump and filter I bought (many years ago) for this restoration.

Thanks for watching! If you like the video, please punch that agree thumb, and consider subscribing if you want to see if I actually manage to get all the frogs and newts out of the pond.

Quick Tip #13 – Put your paintbrush in a plastic bag

You’d be surprised for how long the paintbrush will stay absolutely fine if the bag is properly sealed. I always save any zip lock bag I can and this is a perfect use for them.

VLOG – 2024

No, I can’t see into the future. This is the VLOG for week 24, hence the name. Also, a VLOG! It was ages ago since I posted one of these, but this content didn’t really justify a “proper” video so here we are.

The bees will stay with me for 4-6 weeks while my brother and his wife gets the foundation for the addition to their house done. I have been considering getting bees of my own but time doesn’t really allow for that so this is the second best option I guess.

I only crack one bee-related pun in the video, so if for nothing else, I deserve a thumbs up for my restraint. I’ll post more videos, probably in a VLOG format, about the bees – and more – so don’t forget to subscribe.

Thanks for watching!

DIY #17 – Replacing my fence

After I moved to this property over ten years ago I built a lot of things without really knowing what I was doing, which in turn gave me plenty of opportunities to learn from experience.

This fence is a great example of one of those projects. As the video clearly shows, it’s in dire need of being replaced. And if you watch the rest of the video, you’ll se me – and my brother – replace it.

If you like the video then please like the like like, and perhaps even consider subscribing to see what else I couldn’t build properly many years ago.
